Leading Aspirant under the aegis of National Association of Nigeria Students(NANS), Comr. Famuyibo Oluwasegun CAPTAIN On Wednesday noted that Nigeria is not where it ought to be.

As a result, the Former NANS Deputy Senate President said that the country need prayers to achieve progress and also requires concerted effort of all lovers of the nation.

In his Statement, Famuyibo said “prayer changes things. Earnest prayers will change our situation for the better. Genuine prayers can solve numerous outbreaks such as the deadly Corona virus and other security challenges”.

“The word holds that if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray fervently, I will hear from heaven and hear their land. The Lord is still in the business of hearing prayers, will hear ours, and in this fullness of time, will heal our land.” he said.

CAPTAIN urged the leaders of this nation to stand up to their responsibilities to ensure that they provide leadership, to continue to seek the intervention of God in the way and manner that we lead our people.

Famuyibo commended the intervention of the FG to close all NYSC orientation camps as a result of the fear of corona outbreak.

He urged the federal government on the need to remain undaunted in tackling youth unemployment.

In his own words “unless our Leaders stepped up to assist in finding solutions to the country’s challenges, it would take a longer time to achieve results”. He said.

“The level of unemployment in the country can be reduced drastically if the federal government implements functional policies with adequate monitoring, a clear support plan for its beneficiaries and job creation or entrepreneurship empowerment”.

“Crimes such as robbing, kidnapping, and fraud increase when unemployment increases, because of the widening disparity between the rich and poor. This leads to animosity, social tensions and the need to fend for one’s self and family” he said.
