The immediate passed Member Representing Pankshin/Kanke/Kanam Federal Constituency Hon Timothy Golu (Ph. D) has condoled with the Mupun Nation over the loss of one of their great sons Prof Dakum Shown.
The Elder Statesman reportedly died at an Indian hospital while on treatment.
Golu’s condolence was contained in a statement which read thus
“CONDOLENCES TO THE MUPUN NATION!!!
With heavy heart but total submission to the will of God, I received the news of the falling of a great IROKO, a Teacher, a Mentor and a Political Icon Da Professor Dakum Shown who died at a hospital in India after a protracted illness.
Baba has been a Pillar of support and always at the end to not only advice but device means to ensure that Plateau moves to greater heights.
His death has created a great vacuum not only to the Mupun Nation but to Plateau State and Nigeria at large.
May his soul and the souls of all those repose rest with the Lord Jesus Christ.
