Gov Lalong Orders Profiling and ejection of Almajiri from Plateau to States of Origin

The Plateau State Government has set up a committee to ensure the proper profiling and return of all Almajiri street beggers from Plateau to their states of origin.

This was made known during the state wide broadcast on COVID-19 by Gov Simon Lalong which held at the government house little rayfield.

Governor Lalong said that “This action is in tandem with the resolution of the Northern Governors Forum, which agreed to act in unison to protect these vulnerable children and further reduce the chances for the spread of the disease”.
