The Plateau State chapter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has suspended some members of the party described as “dissidents” reported to have created a faction. This position was revealed in a Statement signed by the Head of Media of the State Caretaker Committee of the Party, Mr JT Akans.
According to the statement, “The working committee arm of the plateau state caretaker committee at its emergency meeting held this evening at state party,s Secretariat to review the unfortunate incidence that took place at the Secretariat . Where some group of rascals mischievously constituted themselves into a caretaker committee which is an affront to national leadership of our party, under the leadership of His Excellency Prince Uche Secondus…”
The statement went further thus that “The state leadership of the party frown at this decedents and therefore approved their immediate suspension from the party with immediate effect…”
According to the statement, “The affected persons are as follows…
- Nandom Penap Exodus.
- Godwin W Bedir.
- Akims mamot.
- Mrs Asabe Dareng.
- Nathaniel Dakas.
- Jecob Dashe.
- Alh Kabiru Musa”.
Consequently, the party announce members of the disciplinary committee to include;
Barr Monday Agwom.
