Ramadan: Plateau State Deputy Speaker host Kanam Stakeholders for Breaking of Fast.
The member Representing Dengi Constituency and Deputy Speaker, Plateau State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Saleh Shehu Yipmong today played host to Kanam LGA Stakeholders for iftar (breaking of fast) in his residence in Jos.

The Hon member welcomed everyone who made it for the iftar, stating the apologies of many who couldn’t attend due to one or two reasons. The gathering consist of people from different political party, tribe and religion. The member said that such a gathering during this period is symbolic to the people of Kanam who have made it a custom that people always gather together during the Ramadan period to eat and dine together.

Kanam LGA Chairman, Hon Abbas Wokdung who was present appreciated the member for bringing them together, urges all to unite, rally round and support the Deputy Speaker. Among those present are Hon Bala Noma (Member Representing kantana constituency), Bishop Musa Labar (Former Reps Member), Alh, Shuaibu Gyangyan, Hon Yahuza kyansar, Hon Sadat Garga, Hon William W. Audu (Commissioner, Civil Service Commission), Hon Ayuba Pyokdom, Hon Haruna Ishaya, Mr Biyaya Ishaya, Hon Yakubu Gumshar, Hon Abdulhamid Pankwal, Hon Nuhu Dagang, Hon Yohanna Bawa, Hon Abubkar Dashe, Barr Bashir among other notable personalities.

They all appreciate the Deputy Speaker for his efforts towards uniting the people of Kanam, they wished him well during the rest of the Ramadan period and beyond.
