Eid el Fitr: Golu Felicitates with Muslim Ummah
Former member of the National Assembly Hon Dr Timothy Golu has joined millions around the world to celebrate this year’s Eid celebration to rejoice with the muslim Ummah . He said its a day, when we all should care, pray, smile, love and celebrate with each other, and thank Allah for what he has given us.
Hon Golu admonished that ,’ On this day Muslims celebrate their achievements and set new goals hence surrounding ourselves with people who uplift us and see you through thick and thin’. He maintained that together, we should give our thanks to Allah for all that is good in our lives.
Golu emphasized that it is a day for reflection and pondering, peace and tranquillity, and for giving thanks and to ask Allah to flood us with his many blessings even as we perform this years Eid not on the prayer grounds but at home due to the Covid-19 pandemic. He emphasize on observing the rules set by the government and request that we continue praying to see to its end soon.
