COVID-19: Association of Nigerian Female Students (ANFS) reaches out to less privilege

The Association of Nigerian Female Students has joined hundreds of philanthropists across the country in the fight against COVID-19. This time the Association reached out in their small way in a bid to provide palliatives to those in need.

This effort was made on separate days and at separate locations in Jos by the National Vice President of the Association Comrade Comfort Agbo and the National Director of Research and Programs Comrade Nafisat AbdulAzeez. Items distributed by the National Vice President Comrade Comfort Agbo around Jenta-Tudun Wada axis include food items, sanitizers and face masks.

At the Masalachin Juma’a area, Director of Research & Programs of ANFS Comrade Nafisat AbdulAzeez was seen distributing food to the less privileged during Iftar (Breaking of Fast). The beneficiaries expressed gratitude to them for their benevolence.

They both thanked the National President of the association Comrade Sylvia Sarki Yemi for mentoring them and leading by example, haven distributed food items and other important palliatives worth hundreds of thousands at various locations in Abuja, including hospitals and Orphanage homes.

The Federal and State Government have been fighting hard to contain the escalating situation while also struggling to provide palliatives to the people.
