The Plateau State Chapter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has expelled Honorable Nandom Exodus Pennap and members of his group follow a review of the report of the Disciplinary Committee inaugurated to investigation what they described as “Anti-Party” activities.
This position was made known in a statement issued by the Head of Media of the Caretaker Committee Mr JT Akans.
It will be recalled that following the expiration of tenure of the State Executive Council of the party, the NWC had communicated their decision for the Chocho led EXCO to continue as Caretaker, pending the end of COVID-19 restrictions imposed by Government will be relaxed to enable Congresses hold.
This did not go down well with some members of the party, as in other states. Rather than appeal to the NWC to review their decision, they went ahead to declare faction, led by Hon Exodus.
As at the time of filing this report, those expelled are yet to make a statement.
