Breaking: Justice Monica Dongban-Mensem confirmed as President Court of Appeal

The Senate has confirmed Justice Monica Dongban-Mensem as the President of the Court of Appeal.

The confirmation of the nominee followed the presentation and consideration of the screening report of the Senate Committee on Judiciary, Human Rights and Legal Matters by Senator Micheal Opeyemi Bamidele (Ekiti Central) who is the chairman of the Committee.

It will be recalled that President Buhari had recently sent her name to the Senate for comfirmatin.
