The Member Representing Dengi Constituency, who doubles as the Rt Hon Deputy speaker, Rt Hon Saleh Shehu Yipmong attended the burial rites of his friend, Late Comrade Mankwat Gizo, whom he considers a brother and a trusted ally at Gid-Gid ward of Kanam LGA.
Rt Hon. Yipmong while delivering his condolence to family of the deceased sympathized with them over the loss of their hero, describing him as a humble, gentle and loyal man, he further described him as a peace lover who lived an examplary life.
Until his death, Mr Gizo was happily married with kids, a lecturer with the Plateau State Polytechnic B/ladi, A true progressive who was an aspirant during the 2019 general election for which he contested for the office of federal house of representatives to represent Pankshin Kanke and Kanam.
While praying for the repose of his soul, Hon Yipmong urged the immediate family, the people of Gid-Gid ward and Plateau state at large to accept his death as a will of God.
Rt Hon Selah Yipmong attended the Church Service in Jos, which held at ECWA Goodnews Church II, at Gada Buyi, and there after escorted the corps of Late Mankwat Gizo to Gidgid, Kanam LGA where he was finally laid to rest.
