MFAT Leadership visits former SGF, Babachir Lawal in Abuja

The National leadership of the Movement for the Actualization of Tinubu as President (MFAT) today paid a courtesy visit on the former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr Babachir David Lawal at his residence in Abuja. The group which was led by the Deputy National Chairman Alhaji Ibrahim D. Abubakar and Vice Chairman North Central, Hon William W. Audu told the former SGF that they had come  to intimate him on their activities so far and to seek for his blessings.

The group explained that they had all worked hard towards the re-election bid of President Muhammadu Buhari on 2019 and resolved to ensure that they give maximum support to Sen Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2023 Presidential Elections, adding that the former SGF’s role in the emergence of President Buhari was pivotal and they have identified him as a critical stakeholder if Sen Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s ambition is to succeed in 2023.

While responding to the group, the former SGF appreciated the MFAT leadership for coming. The SGF described Sen Bola Ahmed Tinubu as his friend and that the aspiration is worthy of support. He was happy to receive them and cracked jokes with them. The atmosphere was cordial throughout. He promised to support them whenever they needed his attention.

The National Women Leader Movement for the Actualization of Tinubu as President, Hajiya Fatima Sagir presented a letter to the former SGF on behalf of the group and assured him of the support of women in the course.

Other members in attendance include the Director of Contact and Mobilization, Umar Salihu Daki, Dinatu Hadiza Saleh, Mr Percy Ndam, R and the FCT Chairman of the group Mr Bindul Tali
