Youth Activist by name Prince Mado Mado has called on the Management Committee Chairman of Jos South LGA Hon Dachung Choji to listen to the voice of the people and thread with caution. This call was contained in an open letter to the Chairman, which according to Prince Mado was as a result of recent calls by a certain group of constituents, who demanded the removal of the Chairman. The letter is presented as circulated on social media.

“Dear Hon Dachung Choji”
“I want to believe you and your family are doing alright, and I also pray this piece meets you in a speedy timely manner”.
“I am writing this letter to you as a law abiding activist youth on the Plateau. Please Mr Chairman let it be known to you that the office you currently hold is a public office and you are also a public servant working for the people, I have read your exchange of articles for weeks now over a group callig for your removal, I also did a deligent investigation to who are the people calling for you removal and why? And I can tell you I can relate to the reasons stated.”
“I want to use my personal experience with you, when people call your number not all are calling to beg you money, it’s your duty as a public servant to listen to people,. Some have tremendous ideas that may help the LGA, if only you had given a listening ear, I have called and send you messages and you never replied any even tho you gave me your number at our first meeting.”
“Honestly I will advice you to trade well with people, must especially we from the Berom tribes who are members of the APC, which we all know it’s not common choice to the majority of the Berom people, again on the record some of us have contributed immensely to the victory of the APC Government in Berom lands atleast some respect reciprocated won’t be a crime.”
“Today your position is appointed and can be changed anytime anyday, you will come out and meet the people and ask them to vote you tomorrow with such attitudes you are exhibiting as an appointment chairman? This may stand on your way tomorrow.”
“Let me end my later Mr.Chairman by reminding you that you are a youth with immense future and you may want to aspire for a greater position tomorrow, your office is a public office and you are obligated to give people attention anytime they come to seek your attention cos you there to serve the people, don’t let the power in the position you hold blind you from your main responsible, which is Plateau people must especially your constituents and residents of Jos-South.”
