APC NEC Dissolves State, LG & Ward EXCO, extend tenure of CTC

The All Progressives Congress has dissolved the executive committees in all wards, local governments and States across the country.

The decision was reached at the National Executive Council meeting which held at the council chamber, Aso Rock in Abuja.

President Muhammadu Buhari, his vice, Yemi Osinbajo, state governors and members of the Caretaker committees were in attendance.

Members of the now dissolved state executive committees were also in attendance virtually.

The National Executive Committee (NEC) of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) also extended the tenure of the caretaker committee by six months. There is no clear reason given for the dissolution and extension of the tenure of the CTC.
