The Deputy Speaker, Plateau State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Sale Shehu Yipmong has bagged an award as the best performing member from Arewa film makers Association of Nigeria, Plateau State chapter.
Members of the association were at the state assembly complex today to honour the Deputy Speaker and member representing Dengi constituency, Rt Hon Saleh Shehu Yipmong. The association described the Deputy Speaker as a humble man, an achiever and a great legislator whose thinking and bearing revolves around the people.
The Deputy Speaker appreciated them for finding him worthy of the meritorious award, and promised do his best in supporting the creative industry as he has already sponsored a bill for the creation of creative industry agency on the plateau, he express his delight to receive his old time favourite artiste (Karkuzu da Bodara).
He appreciated them and made a donation to support the logistics cost they incurred in organising the memorable event.
