NMA State Secretaries take stand on the welfare of Doctors, challenges confronting health sector

State Secretaries of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) have taken a stand to look into their welfare as well as some challenges confronting the health sector across the nation. They include NMA State Secretaries from the 36 States of the Federation and the FCT.

The meeting which held at CRISPAN Hotels Rayfield Road, Jos, was hosted by the Plateau State Secretary of the NMA- Dr Bapigaan William Audu.
The meeting was to help harness the contacts and relationships that could help move the respective state chapters of the association and the national body of doctors forward.

It will be recalled that Doctors from the 36 States of the Federation and the FCT are in Jos,the Plateau State capital for the 2021 61st Annual General Conference and Delegates’ Meeting (AGC/DM) which is the first time the event is holding in Plateau State.

The meeting concluded with far reaching decisions that will ultimately improve health care delivery as well as the fortunes of the Nigerian doctor.
