Maritime Graduands Pay Homage to Barr Idris Hinna

Some graduands who underwent foreign training through the Nigerian Maritime and Safety Agency (NIMASA) have paid homage to Barrister Idris Hinna. The graduands are reportedly part the those whose training was sponsored by Barrister Hinna.

The Graduands paid homage and gratitude to Barrister Hinna whom they described as a Philanthropist at his residence for fulfilling their dreams.

While in a meeting with them, Barrister Hinna asked if there were further issues they would want him to take care of, for them and they gladly responded in the affirmative — that about five of them who were done with the sea training and were awaiting their license to pursue their dreams alleged that due to some irregularities at NIMASA, they have been left on their own. They further alleged that most of their colleagues from other states who are from wealthy families or have connection with top government officials have been sponsored and sent to countries like Egypt and Philippines to obtain their license.

After listening to them, the Philanthropist in his own words said that they now under his care, stressing that “you are also the sons of somebody. you have me as your father. Now, get yourself together and forward to me whatever is needed for you to also obtain your license. You can be sure that I would take care of it all.”
