Plateau LG Chairmen synergize to prevent attacks, promise to make arrest

The Local Government Chairmen of B/Ladi, Bassa, Jos North, Jos South, Jos East, Riyom and Bokkos have have vowed to make arrests based on the information they have shared. This was disclosed by the Local Government Chairmen of B/Ladi, Jos North, Riyom and Jos South following an emergency security meeting held with the Secretary to the Government of Plateau State Prof. Danladi Atu and the Director General, Plateau State Peace Building Agency Mr Joseph Lengman at the Old Government House Rayfield.

The Chairmen emphasized that their resolve was informed by intelligence reports from their various Local Governments relating to the recent isolated attacks on in Jos North, Riyom, B/Ladi which claimed about fourteen (14) lives. They stressed that their focus is on prevent of attacks and swift response in the frontline areas identified to be area of concern.

Promising to improve on efforts to further protect lives and property of residents in their Local Governments and ensure lasting peace.
