The relative quiet within the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Plateau State seems to have come to an end with the recent letter address the Hon Letep Dabang, the State Chairman of the Party, dated June 11th 2021. According a letter signed by the Nation Secretary of the Nation Caretaker Extraordinary , Hon Letep who had served his term a elected Chairman of the APC in Plateau until the recent dissolution by the Nation Executive Council of the Party, converting him to a State Caretaker Committee Chairman along side other counterparts from all states of the federation, is suspended on allegation including but not limited to what the party described as “Anti- Party activities”.
According to the letter, the suspension of Hon Letep Dabang was endorsed by majority of the members of the State CTC of the APC.
According to the statement, the Deputy Chairman of the State Caretaker Committee will act in Hon Letep’s place pending conclusion of the findings of the committee.
