The flag bear of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for chairmanship in the October 2021 Local Government Elections, Hon Kim Titus Danja has sympathized with the people of Kum community in Riyom LGA over what he described as an “Unprovoked attack” which has reportedly claimed lives. This was contained in a stated issued by Mr Danja’s media team. According to the statement Mr Danja was filled “with profound sympathy and a deep sense of outrage” over the unfortunate incident.
The People,s Democratic Party (PDP) Chairmanship candidate Riyom local Government described as barbaric, ungodly inhumane and genocidal induced wickedness visited on the hapless and peace loving people of Kum Riyom local Government area of Plataeu state .
While praying for the souls of the departed to rest in peace and comfort the respective families, Danja condemned in it’s entirety the continuous spate of unprovoked attacked that has become almost a daily occurrence with little or no proactive measures from the appropriate security authorities on ground who are statutorily vested with the duty of security of lives and properties of the citizens.
Danja further highlighted the growing frustration on part of the people who are beginning to suspect a conspiracy of silence and complicity of the authorities aimed at facilitating land grabbing in favour of the attackers. Danja further called on the peace loving people of Riyom to be calm and prayerful, urging them to be security conscience and vigilant at all times.
The PDP flag bearer also made a clarion call on the security operatives to make sure the evil perpetrators are not only apprehended but brought to justice as that will serve as deterrent to others..
