Today, Students from the Faculty of Social Science in the University of Jos recognised the effort of Dr Elkanah Garang for his humanitarian service to the society.
Despite efforts to operate on a low profile, this gesture by Dr Elkanah Garang has been a long time behavior, which motivated the social science students to insist on this recognition, which they considered as long overdue.
While recieving this Award, Dr Garang in all humility thanked the Leadership of the Faculty for recognizing his numerous interventions in Nation building, he emphasized that this gesture by the students will only Spur him to do more.
Other Award recipients include, Maj. Hamza Al-Mustapha, Dr Christian Chuwku, Prof. Sebastian Maimako, Prof GG Ejikeme Joseph Guluwa and Many More for there service to Nation Building.
