In commemoration of the International Youth Day 2021, the APC flagbearer, Kanke LGA in the forthcoming local government election, Hon. Henry Jan Gotip, his Deputy, Mrs. Lucy Gompil, councillorship candididates, Party stalwarts, women and youths stormed Kanke LGA to celebrate with the youths to seek for support from his people.
The team first visited the Palace of the district head of Kabwir, Nde Dominic Gofwen to seek for his royal blessings. While at the palace, the district head of Kabwir prayed for God’s leadership, guidance and direction for the candidate and was optimistic that when he eventually emerges he will bring about development and new innovations to the area.
The train then paid a visit to the LGA party exco where Hon. Henry Gotip applauded them for their effort in building the party and delivering the local government to the APC in the previous elections prior to this time. While, responding the APC Chairman in KankeGA Nde Lar Yiwattda ably represented by his Deputy Hon. Wuchambe assured the candidate of the party exco’s unflinching support and will deliver the chairmanship seat and councillorship seats to the APC come October.
He then proceeded to Kanke LG Secretariat to meet with the Executive Council chairman, Hon. Emmanuel Lar, as well as the serving councillors of the legislative arm of The Council Chairman assured the candidate and his team of their total support in all ramifications to ensure victory at the October polls.
Hon. Henry thanked the Council Chairman and the Legislative arm for the support given to him thus far. He assured them of his willingness to carry out people oriented projects that will impact positively on the lives of the people and move the local government to greater heights when elected. He called on the people of Kanke LGA to participate in the ongoing INEC Voter registration exercise.
Despite the heavy downpour , Hon. Henry Gotip and his campaign team visited Amper to seek for support and royal blessings from the district head of Amper, Nde Emmanuel Jatau. Amidst jubilation by the people of the area, the district head of Amper prayed for God’s guidance throughout the campaigns. He urged Henry Gotip not to allow anything take his attention away from the cry and yearnings of the people of LGA if he emerges victorious at the polls. The Chairmanship candidate of the APC also paid a solidarity visit to the NURTW office at kabwir. The movement ended at Kwarip and kabwir pada ward the immediate constituency of Hon. Henry Gotip where he thanked them for standing by him and encouraged them not to relent in thier support and prayers for the Mu’ Kanke movement in the local government elections.
In attendance during the tour were Kanke LG APC executives, honourable councillors, All APC councillorship flag bearers in the local government , elders, party stalwarts, women groups, youth groups and stakeholders, to mention but a few.
