The Northern Youth Assembly of Nigeria (NYAN) has felicitated with His Royal Highness, High Chief (Dr) Selky Kile Torughedi on the occasion of his coronation as the Eyewie the 5th of Azuzuama community, Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of Byelsa State.
In a statement issued by the Deputy Speaker Northcentral (NYAN), Rt Hon Audu Alex Yibeikas in Jos, the Plateau State Capital, the youth group hailed the Bayelsa State Government for allowing the will of the people to prevail.
According to the statement, the crowning of HRH High Chief (Dr) Kile Torughedi as the 5th Eyewie of Azuzuama community did not come as a surprise given his track record of humanitarian service to humanity for years. They described HRH High Chief (Dr) Selky as a detribalized Nigerian, one who loves all irrespective of ethnic and religious affiliation.
They wished HRH High Chief (Dr) Selky Kile Torughedi a successful and peaceful reign as King.
