The leadership of a group referred to as ‘Youth Alliance Against Corruption’ has congratulated Abdul Sule over his recent emergence and elevation as President of the All Nigerian Players Union (ANPU).
While addressing newsmen in Abuja on Monday 11th October 2021, following a World Press Conference, the Convener of the group Mr Gazali Umar in expressing the need to strengthen peace, government, he noted that stakeholders most develop the sports industries, as the industry has contributed immensely to the nation’s unity and has boosted the country’s economy.
The group extolled Nigerian Players for forming a united union which will henceforth serve as a pressure group that will fight their cause, saying that a union for Nigerian Players is long overdue looking critically at the fate of players without a formidable union.
According to Gazali Umar, the youth group was elated with the emergence of Abdul Sule as the President of ANPU, descrbing him as a man who has passed the integrity test of Youth Alliance Against Corruption, the group further wish the executive of ANPU a successful tenure ahead urging all Nigerian players to support their union by doing the needful.
They expressed gratitude to the BoT Chairman of the Union Mr. Chikelue Iloenyosi for his selfless service to humanity.
Youth Alliance Against Corruption is a youth organization that advocates for concerted efforts against corruption, maladministration and misgovernment, the group is made of youth across the nation and has branches in the 36 states of federation, including the FCT.
