The Appeal Court sitting in Abuja has upheld the suspension of embattled National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Uche Secondus.
The Appeal Court gave the judgement on Thursday 28 of October in a suit filed by the embattled chairman through his lawyers challenging his suspension by the party. A High Court in Port Harcourt had asked him to step aside following his suspension by his ward EXCO.
It will be recalled that the suspended National Chairman of the PDP had approached the appellate court to void his suspension, while also seeking a stoppage of the Planned National Convention of the PDP scheduled to commence 30-31st October 2021.
