Breaking: Speaker, Plateau State House of Assembly Rt Hon Ayuba Abok reportedly impeached

The Speaker Plateau State House of Assembly Rt Hon Ayuba Abok has been reportedly impeached, in the early hours of Thursday 28th October 2021. This followed a reported vote-of-no-confidence passed by an unverified number of House Members at the House. Hon Yakubu Sanda representing Pengana Constituency has been reportedly sworn-in as Speaker

However videos reported to have emerged from the impeachment shows that the Mace of the House was visible not there during that event, while voices of persons suspected to be House Members who disagreed with the process were heard saying they do not accept because the Mace, which is the symbol of authority was not in the house at the time of the reported impeachment.
