A Governorship aspirant under the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon William W. Audu has called on all and sundry to help speak to politicians about the pressing need of rural people in the state. He made this known in a statement issued in the Jos the Plateau State capital following his consultative visit to the Palace of the Ra’an Jahr at Dogon Ruwa in Kantana State Constituency of Kanam LGA of Plateau State on Monday 29th November 2021.
The former President of the Plateau State Youth Council in the late 1990s, decried the deplorable state of the one access road from Dengi the headquarters of the LGA to Dogon Ruwa, the headquarters of Kantana State Constituency of the same LGA and called on all well meaning citizens to get involved in talking to politicians on the urgent need to make tarring of the road to that axis top most priority.
He expressed displeasure over the fact that Kanam LGA despite her huge bloc votes in determining who becomes the Governor of Plateau State, has been used and dumped in the past without give back the needed attention the Local Government deserves.
He used the opportunity to call on all well meaning sons and daughters of Kanam LGA to work together for the political survival and development of the people of the locality so as to avoid the mistakes of the past.
He called for prayers and deliberate actions towards the ultimate emergence of people with genuine concern for the people, which according to him, he is presenting himself as one of such people in the contest for the Governorship of Plateau State come 2023.
Hon William W. Audu is a retired Civil Servant and currently serving as Commissioner (IV), Plateau State Civil Service Commission and Gubernatorial contender in the 2023 Polls in Plateau State.
