Delta State delegates to the Young Political Leadership School Africa have commended the Delta state Governor, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa for his youth friendly policies that have resulted in an unprecedented level of youth inclusiveness in the state.

Led by the Special Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Youth Development, Amb Elvis Akpobi Obas, the delegates gave the commendation after meeting with young students of the Niger Mixed Secondary School, Asaba where they went to tutor them on democratic engagement and civic responsibility.
Ambassador Elvis Akpobi noted that the Gov. Ifeanyi Okowa led administration had put Delta State on the global map positively through capacity building and grooming of youths.

The Young Political Leadership School Africa convenes young politicians and young activists with a passion for supporting good governance, democracy, policy advocacy and fostering transparency in government.
The cohort 8 of the YPLSA who were trained on Leadership, Elections and Governance by international public figures including the Vice Presidents of Liberia and Sierra Leone, numerous Ambassadors and Diplomats including the Ambassadors of Germany, United Kingdom and America to Liberia.
The Cohort 8 lecture and trainings was held at the Bella Cassa Hotel in Monrovia, Liberia.
