The Special Assistant to the Governor of Delta State on Youths Development Ambassador Elvis Akpobi has Congratulated the Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency Engr Seyi Makinde on the occasion of his 54th birthday celebration.
Ambassador Akpobi made this known in a statement issued to journalists in Asaba, the Delta State capital on Saturday 25th December 2021. Ambassador Akpobi described Governor Seyi Makinde as a youth friendly Governor, a role model and mentor who has carried youths along since assumption of office in 2019.
According to Ambassador Akpobi, HE Governor Seyi Makinde’s coming to office has indeed changed the narrative of youth participation in politics and governance. He stressed that Governor Makinde has given many youths the opportunity participate in politics and governance at various levels in Oyo State, a feat which he gestured should be replicated even at the Federal level.
Ambassador Akpobi appreciated HE Governor Seyi Makinde for giving youths the opportunity to be actively involved in the scheme of things in Oyo State, while calling on youths in the state to exhibit good stewardship and a good sense of responsibility while delivering on the mandate given to them by Gov Seyi Makinde.
He wished Governor Makinde a resounding happy birthday, many more years ahead. Ambassador Akpobi used the opportunity to wish Governor Makinde Merry Christmas and a Prosperous Happy New Year in advance.
