Ambassador John Pofi mourns Late Da Nelson Andak Bakfur

The Chief Executive Officer, John Pofi Foundation Inc. Ambassador John Pofi has mourned the demise of the Paramount Ruler of the Mwaghavul Nation, Late Da Nelson Andak Bakfur. In a statement issued to journalists, Ambassador Pofi described the death of the monarch as a great loss to humanity considering what the monarch represented during his sojourn on earth, describing as legendary the vision and commitment of the late monarch to the Mwaghavul Nation, Mangu LGA and Plateau State at large.

According to Ambassador Pofi, those who had the privileged to have worked with the late monarch admired his humility, love for peace and togetherness, while also stressing that these attributes stood him out as a father to all in the locality.

Ambassador Pofi noted that the late monarch dedicated his time, resources and energy to ensuring that his community was always at peace with itself and neighbours, stressing that the late monarch’s fatherly role, calmness and maturity in handling issues at different times have doused tension, calmed nerves and terrible crises were averted .

Ambassador Pofi further stressed that the loss of Da Nelson Andak Bakfur has left a vaccum that only God can fill because his type at a time as this are hard to come by.

Ambassador Pofi on behalf of his family, John Pofi Foundation and the Prayer Force Network commensurated with the Bakfur Family, the Mwaghavul Nation, Mangu LGA, the Government and People of Plateau State over the irreplaceable loss. He prayed God to grant the family, friends and associates the strength to bear the immeasurable loss of a peace icon whose contributions in different facets will live with us for decades.
