The General Manager Plateau Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency (PRUWASSA) Engineer Peter kassam has emerged as the National Chairman of the Amper District Development Association (ADDA). He was elected along side other members of the executive to pilot the affairs of the association.

The election took place on Saturday 15/1/2022 in Amper the Headquarters of the district. Amper district consists of 4 major villages from which 15 branches (smaller villages) emerged.
Declaring the election results, Electoral Committee Chairman Danshiwe Gobum declared Engineer Peter Kassam winner of the National Chairmanship position with 13 Votes, defeated Enoch Chadirwe who score 2 Votes.

The new EXCO then got introduced to Traditional Council of Amper District.
While delivering his acceptance speech, New National Chairman of ADDA, Engineer Peter Kassam thanked the district traditional council led by the District Head of Amper, His Royal Highness Nde Emma Jatau Koprit for their continuous support and guidance. He also thanked the out gone EXCO of ADDA, ELCOM and other relevant stakeholders for their support.

He declared a no Victor no vanquish and extended his sincere gratitude to his contenders and promised to work towards the development of Amper district.
