Hon Ziphion Terkop Chrysanthus, a promising aspirant for House of Representatives for Pankshin/Kanke/Kanam (2023) under platform of the Peoples Democrat Party (PDP) has climaxed his birthday celebration with the less privileged in an IDP camp in Abuja. Hon Chrysanthus, inspired by lessons from the Holy Bible which includes “He who gives to the poor, lends to the Lord “, he exemplified practical love for humanity on Saturday 22nd of January 2022 as his birthday celebrations came to an eclipse.

Together with a high-profile delegation, Hon. Chrysanthus not only visited, spoke inspiring words of encouragement but also generously donated food items and other relief materials to help in ameliorating the condition of the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) who are currently domiciled in their numbers at Durumi Area 1 Abuja.

The IDPs which consist of women and children below the age of 10, majority of whom came as fleeing residents of Borno, Adamawa and Yobe in the wake of Boko Haram Insurgency.
They happily received Hon. Chrysanthus and his entourage and profoundly expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the practical demonstration of love, noting that what he did was capable of leaving footprints in the sands of history because he remembered them in their squalid conditions.

While address the IPDs, Hon. Chrysanthus spoke in an emotion-laden voice and impressed upon the IDPs not to relinquish their hopes and aspirations but keep their faith in God alive and explore different but legitimate avenues to be successful in life. He said the visit was borne out of a deep conviction that life matters and life ought to be touched in positive ways.

He stressed that as God opens more doors, he will continue to do his best for the most vulnerable members of humanity so as to make life a meaningful reality on earth.
