Jubilation as Hon Ziphion Terkop Chrysanthus visits Kanam, receives Royal Blessing from the Emir

The Emir of Kanam HRH Alhaji Muhammed Babangida Muazu has reiterated the need for those vying for political offices to be truthful and honest especially while campaigning. The royal father stated this when he received Hon Ziphion Terkop Chrysanthus on Thursday afternoon at his palace in Dengi, the headquarters of Kanam LGA.

Hon Ziphion Chrysanthus while explaining the reason for his visit to the palace noted that he had come to pay homage to the royal father, adding that he considered it important to visit the royal father before proceeding to make his intention to run for the office of the member representing Pankshin/Kanke/Kanam Federal Constituency known to the local government EXCO and stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kanam. He stressed that no journey is successful without the prayers and blessings of parents, hence the reason for his visit to the palace of the  royal father.

The royal father while responding appreciated Hon Ziphion Chrysanthus for displaying such high level of respect for the traditional institution encouraged him to do his best to ensure that he does not betray the trust young people who accompanied him have in him. He prayed God to bless his efforts according to His will while also expressing satisfaction with that fact that the electorate were the ones who asked Hon Ziphion Chrysanthus to run for office. He noted that with such, it was only normal for Hon Ziphion to ensure that he does not make them regret their decision.

HRH Alhaji Muhammed Babangida Muazu after blessing Hon Ziphion Chrysanthus stressed the need for all politicians to uphold and remain truthful during and after campaigns, pointing out that anyone who comes only to deceive the electorates will receive the resultant effect.

Hon Ziphion Terkop Chrysanthus was accompanied by the PDP Chairman Kanam Local Government, Hon Mawo and other stakeholders. Hon Ziphion was received by jubilant crowd from Gar to the Palace of the Emir of Kanam. Hon Ziphion and his entourage then proceeded to the PDP Secretariat in Demgi and  later to the PDP Secretariat in Kwal, Kanke LGA where he interfaced with party EXCO & Stakeholder of his intention to run for the office of the Member representing Pankshin/Kanke/Kanam Federal Constituency at the National Assembly.
