In furtherance of his ambition to become the next Governor of Plateau State, Amb. Bagudu Hirse has picked the Governorship nomination form under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Amb. Bagudu Hirse who has been described as the most articulate, experienced and versatile Governorship Aspirant on the Plateau considering his sterling achievements in the past, was live at National Secretariat of the PDP Wadata Plaza, Wuse Zone-5 Abuja to pick his interest/nomination form on Monday 4th April 2022.
Amb. Bagudu Hirse, a former Nigeria Ambassador to the Republic of Namibia and one Time Minister of State for Foreign Affairs is considered one of the leading aspirants for the most exalted office of the Executive Governor of Plateau State given his experience and integrity, and haven paid his dues particularly in the area of human capacity development.
Speaking at the National Secretariat of the People’s Democratic Party, shortly after picking his nomination form, Amb. Bagudu M. Hirse described his aspiration as an answer to the clarion call to selflessly serve Plateau people irrespective of the differences shared by the people of the State.
Amb. Bagudu Hirse pointed out in his own words that “Plateau is ours and everyone of us owes Plateau; looking at the current State of Plateau, everyone of us on the Plateau (Me Inclusive) should feel indebted to this State”.
Amb. Hirse further said that those who’ve known him very closely would attest to the fact that he is a man of little but heavy words easily translated into positive actions, stressing that his sanguinity in the whole of the Governorship contest is not in any way a deliberate attempt to undermine the capability of any aspirant.
In his own words, “I acknowledge Plateau and most particularly, the People’s Democratic Party on the Plateau is very rich in human resources and that’s why our State’s chapter of the party is experiencing rains of aspirants for the position of the Governor and others. Beyond compliments, I may not be the best to everyone but I feel I’m the best to completely dissolve the ruling opposition party on the Plateau (APC) and by domesticating my wealth of experience which I did not buy but took precious time to acquire/develop, Plateau would never know a better yesterday when I become Plateau’s Chief servant”.
Arguably, the most friendly and down-to-earth Governorship aspirant, Amb. Bagudu Hirse added that Plateau deserves better in all areas that have direct impact on the lives of it’s people and that the right time is no any other time than now that we have someone who has all that it takes to attract the world to Plateau State.
While bidding farewell to the National Secretariat of the largest political party in Africa, the humorous Governorship aspirant Amb. Bagudu Horse threw into laughter Mr. Daniel Woyegikuro, the National Financial Secretary of the People’s Democratic Party and Chief Benson Agadaga, the Chief of Staff to Governor Duoye Diri of Bayelsa State who’s racing for a senatorial seat in his State who both wished Amb. Bagudu Mutle Hirse the very best in his timely contest.
