As activities leading to the 2023 General Elections intensify, political parties have also kept up with the pace of activities. Opposition parties across the country have not been left behind, they have also been strategizing and closing ranks ahead of the polls.
Following a successful State Congress of the Social Demonstrated Party (SDP) in Borno State, Abba Modu has been reelected as State Chairman. The State Congress which held as the SDP State Secretariat at Mafoni Shopping on Thursday 28th April 2022 was conducted by the Electoral Committee consisting of Usman Gado Adam (Chairman), Baban Gambo Kassim (Secretary) and Modu Gana Bukar returned Abba Modu along with other State EXCO members following a unanimous affirmation by delegates.
Also, all the 27 Local Government EXCO of the SDP in Borno State were also returned elected by affirmation during the congress meeting.
State Chairman, Abba Modu and the entire leadership of the SDP and the State and LG level are returning for yet another tenure, haven successfully led the party in the state for the past four years.
