In one of the final LGA visits to the Southern Senatorial District, Major contender for the Gubernatorial ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ahead of 2023, Dr Timothy Simon Golu has met with LG EXCO and Delegates of PDP in Langtang North LGA.
Dr Golu who was accompanied by his lovely wife Mrs Chalya Golu and his entourage met with the Langtang North PDP family at the Local Government Party Secretariat in Langtang.
Dr Golu took his time to eulogize the PDP family in Langtang North for always setting the pace in providing quality Leadership at all levels. Dr Golu extolled the exceptional leadership qualities of the Member representing Langtang North/South as the National Assembly Hon Beni Lar and the Executive Chairman Langtang North LGA, Hon Joshua Ubandoma Laven.
According to Dr Golu Hon Laven has raised the bar of leadership and performance with his sterling developmental strides in Langtang North LGA within just two years in office.
Dr Golu told delegates that if given the Mandate he had already identified outstanding persons he will work with in the Tarok Nation if he eventually gets the mandate. He promised to bring durable infrastructural Interventions to augment what Hon Beni Lar has done to improve the livelihoods of the Tarok Nation. Dr Golu stressed that as an in-law of the Tarok Nation he will do everything within his power to ensure that the Tarok Nation witness significant development if he eventually becomes Governor with their support.
On her part, wife of the leading aspirant Mrs Chalya Golu, herself a daughter of the Tarok Nation charged delegates to be circumspect and support Dr Golu in becoming the Governor of Plateau State come 2023. Mrs Golu reminded the delegates to not forget how that as their daughter she won’t forget her people when matters of development concerning her people emerge.
Executive Chairman of Langtang North LGA Hon Joshua Ubandoma Laven who later joined the gathering reminded delegates that Dr Golu is a competent young person who played a critical role in the survival of the PDP in Plateau State, adding that Dr Golu has a very high chance compared to other aspirants of clinching the Gubernatorial ticket of the PDP. He reminded the delegates not to always follow the highest bidder but look at a person who will protect their collective interests as Tarok people.
Representatives of the delegates took turns to eulogize Dr Golu and especially his wife Mrs Chalya Golu for her continues support towards them adding that they won’t disappoint Dr Golu by the special grace of God.
The women who are delegates could not hold back their excitement, they began so sing and dance with Mrs Chalya Golu in assurance that they will support and vote Dr Timothy Golu come Monday 23rd May 2022.
