Leading contender for the ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Hon Dr Timothy Golu has promised to ensure that knowledge based governance flourishes with a solid security structure if given the mandate to become the Governor of Plateau State.
This he made known when he interfaced with Elders, Stakeholders, Party EXCO of the PDP in B/Ladi to intimate them on his ambition to become Governor of Plateau State.
He stressed that if elected as flag bearer of the PDP and subsequently as the Governor of Plateau State he will allow everyone a level playing ground for all arms of government to function without interference for the betterment of democracy and development for Plateau people.
He promised to bring his experience to bear haven served as Member of the State and National Assemblies respectively. He noted that he learnt reasonably as a legislator and has the requisite capacity to execute the mandate of the people to bring development for the betterment of the State.
He promised to solidify security structures from the local government level to secure the communities to ensure that farmers are able to return to farm without fear and lands deserted by farmers will be reclaimed and given by to the ancestral owners under a sound security system.
He used the opportunity to condole with the people who lost their beloved ones and had to go for burial and prayed God to comfort them specially.
Various delegates took turns to appreciate and eulogize Hon Dr Timothy Golu and his entourage while also declaring support for his aspiration. Elders and Stakeholders took turns to express their satisfaction with the track records of Dr Timothy Golu and also threw their support for his ambition.
PDP Chairman B/Ladi LGA Represented by Secretary of the party, Hon Nash Adamu on behalf of the EXCO of party, appreciated Dr Golu for visiting them while and prayed for success and safety as he continues his consultative journey.
