Hon Dr Timothy Golu has appreciated the PDP Family in Jos North LGA for holding the party firmly despite the challenges the party has been facing. Dr Golu made this known when he visited the PDP EXCO, Stakeholders and Delegates in the party office along Tafawa Balewa Street in Jos, the Plateau State capital.
Dr Golu noted that he has been a party man since the return of Democracy in 1999 and has never left the party at any moment, pointing out that he has the requisite experience, capacity and capability to deliver for Plateau people haven served at a member of the State House of Assembly and National Assembly respectively.
Dr Golu noted that the reason Plateau people are yet to feel the impact of the current administration is as a result of policy confusion and contradiction the Lalong led administration is trapped in. He lamented the debt profile of Plateau State with any significant sign of development despite huge subventions, financial bailouts and international refunds made to the State.
Dr Golu promised to provide improved infrastructural interventions in the state to ensure that development comes speedingly. Dr Golu stressed that he will give due attention to agricultural to ensure economic prosperity for local farmers.
Dr Golu presented himself as a worthy individual capable of ensuring that the mandate of the people is upheld within the ambits of the rule of law while ensuring proper separation of powers and independence of the every arm of government. Dr Golu pointed that his experience has given him the deepest sense of unity and tolerance for every ethnic group and religion, stressing that he is the one with the most experience among the aspirants.
He urged the delegates to give him the opportunity by voting massively for him on the date slated for the gubernatorial primaries of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
PDP Chairman Jos North Alhaji Aminu Abdulahi on behalf of the EXCO, Delegates and the entire PDP Family appreciated Dr Golu for his doggedness and steadfastness urging him not to relent considering his capacity and experience.
