The First candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has emerged in what is considered the first State House of Assembly Primary Election successfully conducted in Plateau State. The PDP primary election conducted in Kanke State Constituency has emerged. The primary election was reported to have been contested by four (4) aspirants, namely Hon Jiriwa Goyit, Engr Godwin Bedir.
The primary election which took place at rhe Bwirit Hall in Kabwir, Kanke LGA saw Hon Caleb Shikhir pull 13 votes out of a total of 19 votes and was declared winner . Hon Lengweh Wushangka scored 6 votes, while Hon Jiritmwa Goyit and Hon Lengweh Wushangka had no votes. As at the time of filling in this report, the winner was yet to make a statement.
