A youth group domiciled in Plateau State Capital has called on the Executive Governor of Plateau State Rt Hon (Dr) Simon Bako Lalong and the All Progressives Congress (APC) Plateau State, to consider Mr Danjuma Daniel (AKA Judgement Day) and pick him as the running-mate to the gubernatorial candidate of the APC, Dr Nentawe Yilwatda.
The group known as ‘Movement Against Drug Abuse’ endorsed Mr Danjuma Daniel in a statement signed by the leader of the group Samson Musa and issued in Jos the Plateau State Capital. According to the group, Mr Danjuma Daniel (AKA Judgement Day) has impacted the youths in his community positively, hence he will be the perfect person to be considered as the Deputy to the Dr Nentawe.
They stressed that apart from his philanthropy and sterling leadership qualities displayed in his community, Mr Danjuma has sacrificed a lot and has remained very loyal to the APC to the point that he forfeited his ambition during the Bye-Elections for Jos North/Bassa Federal Constituency, when he was asked by the APC to step down.
In their own words, they noted that “…such display of outstanding loyalty, patience and huge political sacrifice made by Mr Danjuma Daniel (AKA Judgement Day) should not go unnoticed and unrewarded, stressing that the least reward the Executive Governor of Plateau State Rt Hon Dr Simon Bako Lalong and the APC Plateau State can give Mr Danjuma Daniel (AKA Judgement DA) is to enlist him as the Deputy to the Gubernatorial candidate of the APC, Dr Nentawe Yilwatda.”
The group promised that despite protests from many over the recently concluded APC Primaries, they were still willing to mobilize thousands of youths to support the APC across Plateau State if Mr Danjuma Daniel is made the running mate to Dr Nentawe Yilwatda.
