The Executive Chairman of Kanke Local Government Area and Plateau State ALGON Secretary Hon Henry Jan Gotip yesterday Monday 4th July 2022 led a delegation of Kanke Elders, Kanke Stakeholders, members of Kanke Executive council, members of the legislative arm on a courtesy visit to Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda Goshwe the Gubernatorial flag-bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at his residence in Jos, the Plateau State capital.
Hon Henry Gotip led the delegation to identify with him, congratulate him on his victory at the recently concluded APC gubernatorial primaries. The visit was also to assure him of the local government’s unflinching support in the forthcoming 2023 General Elections.
In his remarks the Council Chairman showered accolades on the flag-bearer for his humility, doggedness, charisma and for his willingness to always serve Humanity. He said that the reason for the visit was to identify with him, congratulate him and also to encourage him as the journey that lies ahead requires support from all well meaning citizens of Plateau State.
The representative of Kabwir Zone Nde Sam Piwunna while speaking expressed gratitude to God for the emergence of Dr. Nentawe. In his own words “we wanted this for long not that we are the best but to replicate the developmental strides achieved by Kanke Born JD Gomwalk who transformed Plateau State.” He prayed God to give him success and assured him of total support from Kanke.
Also, speaking during the visit, the representative of Ampang Zone assured the flag-bearer that no vote will fall to the gutter from the zone. Plateau is lucky to have a digital and God fearing incoming Governor he added. Representative from Amper Zone said Kanke people have never been United as Now, which he believes will in turn translate to massive Votes for him as Kanke is Dr. Nentawe and Dr Nentawe is Kanke.
While responding the Gubernatorial Candidate Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda Goshwe appreciated God first because he gives power to anybody and at anytime he so wishes.
In his own words, he stressed thus that “I don’t have the knowledge, power or anything but God chose me. I appreciate you all for standing with me through out the period of our primaries. We have won and we are out to seek for another support”.
The APC candidate appreciated the tremendous support received from Home stressing thus that “The Ngas man is known for keeping good relationships and friendship. We have had a cordial relationship with Plateau people,We will reach out to everyone for their support and together by God’s grace we will give a leadership that will transform Plateau State.
