A massive crowd turned up for the Plateau Mega Rally/Fitness Walk and One million man March For Peter Obi in Plateau State causing a massive gridlock of cars and movement within the state capital. The walk started in the early hours of Saturday 17th September 2022 at the Rwang Pam Township Stadium in Jos Plateau state with a prayer led by the Coalition for Better and Brighter Nigeria.
In his remarks, Prophet Isa El-Buba while leading the rally said the Coalition for Better and Brighter Nigeria was using the Plateau Mega Rally and Fitness Walk to call for political awakeness from Nigerians as it was time for power to be given back to the people. He said the candidature of Peter Obi from the Labour Party has restored hope to the common man as it has gone beyond tribal and religious sentiments, and it was time to take back power from those who don’t mean well for Nigeria and Nigerians.
Prophet Isa El-Buba who is the General Overseer of the Evangelical Outreach Ministries International, with headquarters in Jos, Plateau State. further admonished Nigerians to be wary of politicians who are out to use them for selfish gains. He said it was time to look beyond party politics and elect credible leaders come 2023 in the other elective positions but as for the presidency, he said he was convinced Peter Obi and Datti Baba are the right men for the job.
The march witnessed a massive movement of Plateau citizens walking from the Jos Township Stadium to meet up with ‘obedient’ movement at Secretariat Junction for a jamboree concert.
