From Street to Stardom, the story of Benjamin Marshal

A Benin Born 24-year-old gospel rapper, Omere Benjamin, also known as ‘Benjamin Marshal’ has become popular after performing at the Global Music and Arts event, the 2022 Love World Festival of Music and Arts, held at the Love World Campground Aseese Ogun State, Nigeria.

The event which features the cream de-la cream of music and arts from across the world is organized by the President of the Love World Nation, Rev Chris Oyakhilome D. Sc, D. D to recognize talents in the ministry drawn from across Christ Embassy Churches World Wide. Benjamin Marshal’ had his first shot at his music ministry in 2014 during a street concert in Benin. With his resilience and persistence in his career, haven received a solid foundation from the Ministry of Rev Chris Oyakhilome D. Sc, D. D, he went on to qualify as one of the performing artistes from Christ Embassy Benin Zone 2.

Benjamin Marshal was cheered by jubilant brethren at the event when he performed his hit track titled “Pastors in the Field” from an ep he hopes to launch.

For an artiste to qualify to perform at the event, such an artiste must have to go through different stages of screening from his or her church, zone and region. This is the process ‘Benjamin Marshal’ went through to qualify and perform at the epoch making event.
