Rep. Bagos Hails The Bravery of the Youths of Jos East in the Rescue of Adagwom Izere

The member representing Jos South/ Jos East federal constituency & Deputy Chairman House committee on Anti-Corruption, Hon Dachung Bagos has applauded the hunters association, community police, and youths of the Jos East local government area of Plateau over their heroic feats that led to the rescue of the Ada Gwom Izere, HRH, Ada Rev. Issac Wakili from his abductors.

This was disclosed in a statement issued by the Special Adviser on Media & Publicity to Rep. Dachung Bagos, Mr Danja Dafwam Yakubu.

Recall that the paramount ruler was kidnapped in the early hours of Friday, 20th January 2023 at his residence in Shere District of Jos East local government.

The lawmaker hailed the bravery of those who went all out to rescue the traditional leader. He further called on the federal government not to disband the existing federal police formation but to establish state police which will create an additional buffer against insecurity in the country.

He equally appreciates the security agencies for their constant collaboration with the local security outfits.

Bagos commensurate with the family of the palace guard who lost his life in the unfortunate event and prayer for healing for those who sustain injuries.
