A group by the name Concerned Berom Youths has fingered the Senator representing Plateau North Senatorial District Istifanus D. Gyang and his aides as those secretly working for the Labour Party in Plateau North Senatorial District ahead of the February 25th 2023 Polls.
This was disclosed during a press conference addressed by the group in Jos, the Plateau State Capital.
Mr Mali Samuel Jok, while reading the Press Text on behalf of the group reacted to the alleged endorsement of the Labour Party Senatorial Candidate for Plateau North, Barrister Gyang Zi by the BEROM MINISTERS FORUM (BEMFO).
They described the recent endorsement of the Candidate of Labour Party, Barr. Gyang Zi by BEMFO as a misadventure and a total deviation from their calling thereby bringing the organization into total disrepute. According to them, the expect their Spiritual leaders to be concerned with their calling not allowing themselves to be used by some desperate politicians.
The group particularly noted with particular concern the relationship between the BYM President and Sen. I.D Gyang whose Senior legislative aide they claimed has declared support in Rim, Riyom LGA and many other places for the Labour Party Senatorial Candidate Barrister Gyang Zi.
They described the action as an indication that Senator ID Gyang is the invisible hand sponsoring the BYM President into this act of recklessness, especially that the Senator has not openly scolded or called his aides to order.
