The Nigerian Ambassador to Russia with concurrent accreditation to Belarus, was in Dengi, the capital of his Local Government Area, Kanam to charge youths to conduct themselves in a peaceful manner during Saturday presidential elections.
Amb. Yibaikwal made this known at a engagement organized by him through Youth groups in Kanam during which he said that the prosperity of youths lies in their strategic composure and approach to issues without thuggery or violence.
He urged all the youth groups to keep sentiments aside and elect the best candidate they feel will transform Nigeria. He added that advanced countries have long thrown religion, ethnic, party and other sentiment away thereby making them to elect competent leaders and enjoy all the dividend of democracy.
He further added that he will support and fund any initiative that is peace driven or for educational pursuits, charging the youths to aim high so as to maximize their potentials.
The event climaxed with refreshment, photographs and exchange of pleasantries among comrades.
