The National Association of Nigerian Students NANS has congratulated His Excellency Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu over his victory at the just concluded Presidential Elections. In a statement issued by the National President of NANS Comrade Umar Barambu and made available to Journalists on Wednesday 1st March 2023, NANS congratulated Senator Bola Tinubu for winning the polls is a historic, and keenly contested elections.
NANS was reacting to the declaration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu as winner of the February 25th 2023 Presidential Elections by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Chairman Prof Mahmood Yakubu.
NANS used the opportunity to remind Senator Tinubu of the need to urgently begin preparing modalities to ensure that the promises he made to Nigerian Students are implemented as soon as he assumes office May 29th 2023.
Comrade Barambu used the opportunity to hail the Executive Governor of Jigawa State, Alhaji Muhammad Badaru Abubakar for his steadfastness and for delivering on the mandate of the APC in the State. NANS specially appreciated him for always supporting Nigerian Students always whenever they call for his fatherly intervention.
