Stakeholders and aspirants of the People Democratic Party (PDP) in Plateau State have expressed confidence in the activities of the Caretaker and satisfaction in the process initiated by the Electoral Panel of the Repeat State Congress of the party.
Speaking to Journalists at the Langfield venue of the State Congress, one of aspirants for the office of the State Publicity Emmanuel Macham, expressed satisfaction with the work of the Caretaker Committee is placing the party back on track. While commenting on the process of accreditation of delegates, Mr Macham told journalists that the process is indeed solid, which was why all parties came out for the screening. He stressed that there was high level of confidence in the Caretaker.
He assured party stalwarts that he would congratulate his opponent if he wins and will also work with him if he looses, pointing out that the process is the most important component of the congress.
Also, an aspirant for House of Representative ahead of 2023 General Elections for Pankshin/Kanke/Kanam Federal Constituency, Mr Irimiya Jittama expressed confidence in the capacity of the aspirants contesting for various offices in the on going State Congress of the PDP. Mr Jittama who was also present at Langfield Event Center, Venue of the Congress stressed that both Hon. Chris Hassan and Hon Bitrus Kaze were party members who had the capacity to lead the party, hence anyone one of them who emerged would to justice to unite the party for better stability..
He called on all party stalwarts, especially the two factions in the party to accept the outcome of the congress.
