Rt Hon Yakubu Sanda Celebrates Nigerian Workers on the occasion of the 2023 Workers Day

Rt Hon Yakubu Sanda, Speaker Plateau State House of Assembly has felicitated and celebrated Nigerian Workers on the occasion of the 2023 May 1st Workers Day. This was contained in statement issued by the Press Secretary to Rt Hon Speaker, Sabastine S. Hommuk and made available to journalists in Jos 1st May 2023.

According to the statement “No doubt, Labour was the first price; the Original Purchase -Money that was used for exchange of goods and valuables before the introduction of money.”

“Labour is the bane of development and Economic stability, it therefore implies that all wealth of the world are realized via Labour.” the statement added.

“It is on this note that the nation will cherish your Unique Sacrifices and Contributions to the Plateau and Nigeria Project.”

“Your Faithful Partnership to the Purpose -driven programmes and Policies of government for the general good of the People of Plateau is highly acknowledged.” Rt Hon Sanda said.

Rt Hon Sanda eulogized worker by appreciating their “…Dedication, Sacrifices and Commitment to work so far put our nation (Nigeria) our dear State (Plateau) on the path of greatness”.

Rt Hon Sanda also extended his felicitations to the Governor of Plateau State, thus “I salute the Labour friendly Governor of Plateau State His Excellency Rt.Hon Simon Bako Lalong (KSGG) for taking workers Welfare Seriously through the payment of Salaries Pension and other allowances even in the face of dwindling economic realities.”
