His Royal Highness (Dr) Selky Kile Torughedi (a.k.a General Young Shall Grow), the Eyewei the 5th of Azuzzuama, Southern Ijaw LGA of Bayelsa State has celebrated the 55th Anniversary of the Isaac Adaka Boro Day, which is celebrated annually by the Ijaw Nation to commemorate the struggle for the emancipation of the Niger-Delta region initiated by Late Major Isaac Jasper Adaka Boro in the 1960s.
HRH Dr Selky hosted the celebration at his Abuja Palace residence, Nigeria’s Federal Capital Territory. The monarch was joined by the Leadership of the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) the FCT/Northern Nigeria chapter.
While addressing the IYC Leadership, HRH Dr Selky charged the youths to continue to emulate their past heroes stressing unity, peace and discipline in championing the affairs of the Ijaw Nation, which accroding him, in doing so they will get it right in no distant time.
In his usual philanthropic nature, HRH Dr Selky entertained the youths and also joined in the celebration dance to mark the 55th Isaac Jasper Adaka Boro Day Celebration.
