Breaking: MTC Chairman of Kanke LGA, Hon Shikir Nuhu Caleb takes over administration under a peaceful atmosphere

The Newly sworn-in Management Transition Committee Chairman of Kanke LGA, Hon Hon Shikir Nuhu Caleb has taken over the administration of the council. The new council boss stormed the council Secretariat 9am on Wednesday 14th June 2023 at Kwal, the headquarters of the LGA in company of management Staff of the Council.

The management Staff of the council took him round the council facilities in order to give him first hand information about the state of things in the council. They also hinted him on the ongoing industrial action by staff of the council which was the reason why all offices were under lock and key.

While making his remark, Hon Caleb Shikr first sympathized with the striking local government workers, adding that like the Executive Governor of Plateau State, Barrister Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang promised, he will do his best to see that their welfare is addressed in the shortest time possible to enable them return to work.
